About us

The Bristol Trust is a family run business that has been in operation for over 100 years.

The Pucklechurch Development Company, also known as PDC, is the property arm of the Bristol Trust. It was created in 1963 when eight people, all with a background in property and a comprehensive knowledge of the local area, came together to form the original board.

The renowned RAF Pucklechurch Balloon Airfield in North East Bristol was PDC’s first acquisition and was duly transformed into a thriving industrial estate. The wide range of commercial units were let, providing local tenants operating in a variety of business sectors with a space to trade from and helping businesses in the local area prosper.

Under the watchful eye of three generations of share holders the company has been successfully developing estates and managing commercial properties ever since.  Just short of five decades later that first acquisition is still a major asset to the company.

In 2006 Jonathan Seymour-Williams took over PDC and continues to grow the property portfolio providing commercial units to let across South Gloucester and North Wiltshire.

Property is just one of the Bristol Trust’s areas of expertise. It also provides business and financial support to small businesses across the area.
